"This has been one of the most incredible learning experiences for him in such a short period of time. Your teaching and your intuitions about children are some of the most amazing I've witnessed in twenty years of working professionally with educators. I feel so grateful that we could be a part of it."

Summer enrollment is monthly for June, July and August.
Summer classes begin the week of June 3, 2024.
.
The thinking of young children is naturally novel, fluid and unfettered by convention. However, the expectation for conformity of thought often increases as children grow. This class is designed to help young people retain, reconnect with or recover the skills and mindsets that foster high-level creativity: flexibility, risk-taking, open-mindedness, perspective-taking, imagination, playfulness and collaboration.
Using a wide range of games and exercises designed to elicit originality and inventiveness, this class will simultaneously build Spanish conversation skills and vocabulary acquisition.

What will our daily lives look like in 2055? How will innovation and cultural evolution change our architecture, modes of transportation, technology, clothing, and play?
As we move thematically through quotidian elements of everyday life, we will study the history of modernity, look at how things "used to be" and make projections about how things will change 40 years from now, answering the questions, "Who will we be?"; "How will we live?" and "What world should we build together?"

This class provides a highly-engaging, novel framework through which the children will establish a broad base of Spanish vocabulary: the words necessary for everyday conversations.
