Get a writing utensil and some paper for the first two videos. My hope is to help the children work on and hone their fine motor skills with these very simple and easily-conquered drawings. Many young children have a hard time conceptualizing a profile when drawing or visually considering an animate creature (i.e. "Hey Teacher Janel - that is missing an eye!"). I try to help the kids make that cognitive leap with the below video. There are a couple of annoying split seconds of glare on my whiteboard - this was the best take of many but still not perfect, my apologies. I hope it doesn't cause any frustration. Picking an orange from my tree...and some vocabulary throw-back references to the food unit: Comic relief below: Slam and I are trying to get our flag routine down. We still have some coordination work to do.
