In this video Slam gets confused because the word "cerca" can mean both close and fence, so he plays with the word a little to help make an association. (There are other words for fence, too, in Spanish there are often regional variations.) In this one Slam helps me read (and discuss) a slideshow about fences made of all kinds of crazy things... I hope this new tech approach will help me read more effectively to the kids for early literacy work. If you expand this to full screen Slam's face (and mine) might be easier to see: Slam likes the photo of the dog with its snout in the fence and wants to do something similar. In these two clips we are practicing the words "hocico" (snout) and the preposition "detras" (behind)...but I also know the kids typically enjoy seeing Slam's face framed in a crazy way.
